Forklift Driver

Are you looking for shift based employment with opportunity to get consistent hours in the steel industry? A leading steel manufacturer in Pinkenba is seeking dedicated Loaders and Forklift drivers to join their dynamic production team.

If you have experience in a production environment, or simply a great work ethic and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you!

The Role

You will be integral to the production process, working primarily with steel reinforcement (rebar) poles and other required roles within the area to ensure smooth production and effective workplace environements.

Loaders

• Loading and unloading steel products utilizing a forklift.

• Safely operating a Gantry Crane to lift, manoeuvre, and stage product within the yard.

• Assisting with inventory management and maintaining a tidy work area.

Shifts Available (Monday to Friday)

We offer two set shifts, allowing for a great work-life balance:

• Morning Shift

• Afternoon Shift

What We're Looking For

• A strong commitment to safety and following procedures.

• A reliable and punctual attitude.

• Experience in a production, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environment is a plus.

• Highly regarded: Current Forklift Licence.

• Any transferable knowledge from similar industries (e.g., fabrication, construction, trade assistant roles) is beneficial.

• If you have a great work ethic and want to learn we are open to no having no experience!
• MUST have full work rights
